Rotimi Solola is more than just a designer, he is a visionary. Since the days of his youth Rotimi has developed a passion for design & the Arts, from music to visual graphics. At the age of 10, while most children were playing outside, Rotimi was on the computer designing PowerPoint Presentations for fun. “This is where it all started for me, I remember myself using animation sequences to create comics, & by the time I got into high school my skills were so good that I was getting paid to give PowerPoint development classes to the staff members.” Rotimi is studying to become an engineer, and it’s this combination of art and engineering that allows his work to stand out. “Because of my knowledge in engineering, I am able to think of unique and different styles to add to my work.” Rotimi has many skills including audio/video production, photo rendering, typography, PowerPoint, Animation, web design applications, illustration, 2-d/3-d design, and even T-shirt design. “About two years ago I started SLM design Co. as a way to display my work; I am the only one behind this company so I stay very busy. I know that by teaming up with Badd Models Inc. I can get my work recognized, but at the same time help Badd Models Inc. maintain a modern, 21st century look that will really gain the attention of all of Chicago.”
