Marcus Knight/ Treasurer
My name is Marcus Knight and I am a senior majoring in Sociology at Chicago state University. I am the president of the Sociology Club and I am involved in various programs such as, the Study Abroad program (through which I was able to study in France for a month) and the Minority Internship program that I just completed this past summer. During the fall semester of 2010, I will be writing an undergraduate thesis pertaining to Black-American culture.
Due to my prior history of efficiently handling the Sociology Club’s funds for more than 2 years, I feel as though I am more than proficient when it comes to managing and documenting funds correctly. As the treasurer of Badd Models Inc., I think I can bring stability and organization with the tracking of Badd Models Inc. funds.
Badd Models Inc. would benefit me as an aspiring sociologist because I am allowed to view the importance of bodily aesthetics which is the premiere focus of the modeling field. I have a few questions that I would like answered pertaining to the ideology of people involved in the modeling field. Overall, I feel that my involvement could add to my search of knowledge about how people see each other.
